Jewellery Care - Keeping your Kindly clean
It is important to us that your Kindly pieces are loved by you for years to come. So here are some tips on how to show your pieces some love and to keep them looking fresh AF.
Sterling Silver jewellery naturally develops a darker patina over time due to oxidation. It is a completely normal and natural reaction known as tarnish. This can also develop due to PH levels, body oils or perspiration. To slow down the process:
• Remove your Kindly pieces before entering water, this includes the shower, bath, ocean, pool, or spa.
• Direct contact with chemicals can be harmful to the gold plating on your pieces so, after pampering yourself with body lotions, perfume, hairsprays, and other chemical-based products, it is then safe to wear your Kindly pieces.
• Sterling Silver is a soft metal so any knocks to your pieces could cause damage. We encourage you to remove your Kindly pieces before bed or any physical activities such as the gym, gardening, or sports to extend the life of your piece.
• Being kind is cool, so be kind to your pieces by placing them on a soft surface when you are not wearing them. This is to avoid scratches and unwanted damage.
• To add some shine back to your Kindly, occasionally buff with a soft microfiber or jewellery cloth.
