It’s A Wrap! Stylish Scarf tips
Do you have a scarf lurking in your room somewhere because you are like me and too overwhelmed about how to tie it, or does the thought of owning a scarf have you shaking in your boots. One of the best feelings in the world is having a snuggly scarf wrapped around your neck to keep you warm as you brave the long winter days and nights.
Like any other accessory a scarf is a way for you to add colour and personality to your outfit.
Here are a few tips and tricks on how to tie a scarf for real women like yourself who lead a busy life. There are a few main options that will generally work for the majority of scarves available.
The simplest way to wear a scarf is to form the scarf in a u shape and place it around your neck. Take a longer section on the right side and throw it over the left section. Next turn it and adjust so one length is draping down your front and the other your shoulder. Effortless yet very stylish
The classic wrap is the best way to describe this method of wearing your chosen scarf.. Hold your scarf and drape it around your neck then wrap one end around your neck and adjust till the middle wrap part is centred and the tails wrap pieces are hanging symmetrical you can have the tails positioned in front of your body or down your back
Loop and Knot is another way to display your scarf. This method has it very snug around your neck keeping you snuggly warm. First fold the scarf in half holding the ends together tightly and creating a loop at the halfway fold point. Now thread one of the loose ends through the loop and tie the free end together with the one that you thread through the loop and adjust so its centred and both ends are draping at the front.
Once you have mastered those three and are wanting more of a challenge you can try the front knot.
