Endemic to New Zealand, the Kārearea is known for its fierce presence, extraordinary hunting skills, and speeds reaching up to 200km/h. It even features proudly on the NZ $20 note and previously won Forest & Bird’s Bird of the Year in 2012.

These earrings are crafted from naturally toned, red–brown recycled 3D printer waste sourced from Kiwifil. The warm hue resembles wood (or even chocolate!) and pairs effortlessly with any outfit. Sustainable, meaningful, and beautifully lightweight.
